The filters from Bunn are optimized for use in flat-bottom brewers. Their structure and porosity ensure optimal filtration and brewing time. The filters themselves are therefore somewhat more robust than standard coffee filters. The filters are bleached using an elemental chlorine-free (ECF) process, which is a more sustainable process that uses less harmful chemicals.
Remember to rinse the filter thoroughly before brewing! This will remove any "papery taste" from the coffee, as well as ensure an even extraction.
