Our coffee distributor ensures a flat bed and good distribution of the coffee in the portafilter.
Good distribution in the portafilter can affect the result in the cup and help prevent water from easily creating channels through the coffee in the filter. A more even distribution will contribute to a more consistent extraction and greater repeatability.
To use:
First, adjust the desired height of the coffee bed by unscrewing the top and adjusting the shiny base to the desired height. Lock the height by screwing the top back on.
Place the distributor in the portafilter. Spin and lift.
The three arms on the underside ensure a polished and even surface.
Fits 58mm portafilters and thus all Rocket espresso machines
Our model is 58.4 mm in diameter and therefore well suited for precision filters from IMS or VST. It is made entirely of metal with a black top and a minimalist ergonomic design.
