This exclusive tea takes its name from the majestic Kangchenjunga in the Himalayas, where this tea also originates. A unique and complex tea with sweetness and floral notes inspired by fresh mountain air. This unique tea truly comes into its own when prepared in the silk pyramids it is presented in, and it is then packed in foil to preserve all the delicious taste and aroma in the best possible way. The design on the packaging is inspired by Newby's founder, who has built the world's largest collection of antique teapots through a long life of passion for tea. Details from the teapots associated with the tea are used in the design of each bag.
A light amber cup with sweet floral notes and a muscat grape flavour, followed by a fresh and astringent finish.
Best brewed by placing one pyramid in a cup of freshly boiled water that has cooled to 90°C. Then brew for 2-3 minutes.
Contains 15 Silken Pyramids tea bags individually wrapped in foil.
