This is, hand on heart, the best pouch tea we have ever tasted. Meticulously crafted from fresh green tea leaves harvested in spring, infused with night-blooming jasmine, and hand-rolled into small pearls. These are then packed into silk pyramids and foil-sealed to best preserve all the delicious flavour and aroma. The design is inspired by Newby's founder, who has built the world's largest collection of antique teapots through a long life dedicated to tea. Details from the teapots relevant to the tea are used in the design of each pouch.
A light, elegant cup with clear notes of fresh jasmine and a floral, elegantly sweet finish.
Best brewed by placing one pyramid in a cup of freshly boiled water that has cooled to 80 C. Then, let it brew for 2-3 minutes.
Contains 15 Silken Pyramids tea bags, individually foil-wrapped.
