Our black metal needle distribution tool (NDT) is of extra high quality. Not only does it come with a sturdy stand to rest the tool and protect the needles, but it also includes a set of extra needles in case you're unlucky. This also means you can experiment with fewer than the standard eight needles. Or bend and adapt the tips as desired.
The tool is essential for any modern barista who wants to try the Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT). The thin needles break up any clumps and create a homogeneous fluffy puck before tamping. This limits channeling and ensures better extraction.
