One of our early favorites was coffee from the Don Amado farm, with its unique and fruity flavor profile. The quality of the coffee from this farm has been consistently excellent since they won the Cup of Excellence in 2010.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn 2010, José Amado and his wife Sandra Trochez inherited the farm from Don Amado Sr. They significantly expanded and improved the farm in the years that followed. Sadly, José Amado passed away in 2019, so now Sandra runs the farm with their four children. Here, she primarily grows Pacas, as well as red and yellow Catuai. After picking, the cherries are depulped and dry-fermented for 15 hours.
